HI,
what are steps to consider after upgrading the sqlserver from 2000 to 2008.How can I reconnect my .NET application from sqlserver 2000 to 2008 after upgrading. As we know some functionalities depricated in sqlserver 2008 from 2000,all my StoredProcedures,Functions,Views are related to sqlserver 2000.

You should be checking your code BEFORE you upgrade, not AFTER. Run the Upgrade Advisor tool against your database to check for things that might not work.

As part of the upgrade process, you should update stats and change your compatibility level (if you can support 90 or 100 that is).
