So it must be time to talk about summer holidays.

I've just come back from the Red Sea and couldn't help but notice that the hotel was full of Germans, other europeans and Russians (do they all count as europe) but not a single American in sight?

So my question to all is, where do you go for a summer holiday?

Hawaii, Mexico, California, Florida...those are pretty common for the warm months. As for Americans right now, we're just now entering the cold months, so our vacations will be to the mountains where there's snow.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

I thought you worked for the public sector Steve?

Haven't you heard? Times are hard and there are austerity measures, so you aren't allowed to have any holidays.

Your can't even "Go Dutch" with a friend, so your only hope of a holiday is to "Go Greek" and get a German to pay for your holiday for you!

No, you carry on mate. Doing business direct saves all the paperwork in all those government contracts, much easier this way ...

Are you sure? We must disguise ourselves now when traveling internationally - thanks to all our wonderful foreign and environmental policies.

Well thats nothing as compared to the benefits US foreign policy brings to the american people.

For example free oil first from Iraq now from Libya and in future from Iran (after US attacks it)...
