hello!
When we sart with sql programming, and we use varchar OR varchar2, WHEN is wher e we can wirte it without NOT NULL? and where we mustent avoid it, by writing tab file?

I think varchar2 is a Oracle data type...? This forum is for Microsoft SQL Server. You might get more/better/faster help in an Oracle specific forum.
