I know this form is for SQL Server but if someone can help ...on
We have utility which update/upgrades sybase database 9 or syabase database 12 TO sysbase database 16
In that process what they do is once database backup folder is created it saves db file on it delete orginal database, but somehow it did not save db file but orginal database was deleted
ANY Tool or any way we could get back db file
will airbackup work for sybase
we have a year old db if we cannot get database which has been deleted then client will loss data for a year
Please help

are there no other backups you can reference, that may be a day older?

You can get help from data recovery software.
There are so many this type of software available in the market that claim they can recover deleted data, like Recuva, Stellar Phoenix etc.

If you have log file then recover from it otherwise search Google for something like this and download the software from there.
