Love the tool itself (www.techsmith.com)
has anyone ever used or know if there is a snagit sdk? I know the camtasia recorder has an sdk to allow developers to integrate the video recorder into their own tools. But I'd like to know if snag it actually has an api or sdk I can play with.

Thanks,
Jon

From there site it seems to mention the video recorder only..doesn't look like their is one for capturing still images. I did e-mail them though.

from the page merkin linked to:

quote:
The SnagIt COM Server is a programming interface to SnagIt. It allows any programming language that supports COM access to SnagIt's image and text capture features. For example, developers using Visual Basic, VB Script, Visual C/C++, Visual Studio.Net, Delphi, or C++ Builder can now embed and control SnagIt directly in their applications.

Isn't that what you were asking for?
