If I've got that right then do you suffer from brake-fade? if not I don't think you need them
If you do then I guess that improving the cooling would make them last longer too

Change the brakes? (Increase the number of "pots" or size of pads, and also the diameter of the discs). Dunno if that is possible for you? (or affordable!) I did that on my kit car and I have to look in the mirror before pressing the brakes hard, or the guy behind me will be in trouble!
My Father told me, many years ago, that when Disc Brakes first came out they gave you a sticker for your rear-end so that the poor guy with Drum Brakes behind you knew to keep his distance! |
