Hi, when it comes to useful apps, which one has the better ones, Android or iOS? I'm working on building my own mobile app but for one platform only, so I'm thinking which is better. Thanks!

Like anything else it depends. However I can tell you that building apps for IOS is harder. That's why google built a cross-compiler; write once, run anywhere!

Hmm...I'll have to check that out. I've been trying to compare the top apps on both platforms and other info to see which kind is more popular and for what. But if I can make it once and it be available for both platforms that would be pretty awesome in my book.

I'm trying to get to this status http://www.forbes.com/sites/benkepes/2014/08/21/xamarin-raises-54-million-because-ma-and-mobile/. It's absolutely crazy! But if I can create something that helps people do things quicker/easier AND brings in that type of dough...I think I'd pretty much be set for life.
