Author  Topic  ellgk Starting Member 9 Posts Posted - 2008-10-17 : 06:12:18 hello to All I'm exporting data from sql database into excel.(using a package) i have to protect some columns from the users hence I protect some columns but everytime that im executing the package an error is displayed telling me that i cant update these columns. I cant remove protect function for updating only because i want to prohibit users making changes. Is there any idea how to update and protect my data in the excel file? thanks eli
