sekhar writes "I am running NT and SQL 6.5 servers with Transaction replication. Replication is working fine. But my question is when I synchronized first time the job type SYNC generated all the schema and bcp files for all tables and the distribution job applied all the data at the subscriber. Now when the SYNC job runs next time it runs for only few seconds and does not generate any files in the REPLICATED directory. I like to know what exactly is this SYNC job doing after the first Synchronization. Also the SYNC job by default gets scheduled to run every ONE minute. Is it really required to run this job at specfic interval schedules? If so what is role in replication after initial synchronization.

Thanks in advance. "
