When I try to install a default instance of SSAS on a Windows 2003\Sql 2005 cluster, I get the following error: The Virtual Server name you provided is not valid. To proceed, provide a virtual server name. There are several references on the web suggesting to remove the virtual name from DNS and rerunning the install, but im not sure if this is a good idea as it will result in downtime ( http://www.eggheadcafe.com/conversation.aspx?messageid=30817884&threadid=30817864 ) Does anyone know of a different way to do this? cheers Mark |
