| My Client has mission critical business MS SQL based application for POS software. Data comes from 20 remote retail locations, then is pushed out so all locations are current with customer/sales data.Current server is stand alone put-together with RAID 1 + 5, but it is very old - maybe 7 years - and drives are starting to go. These are lean times, so there is not much money for a full on SQL cluster and SAN. Can anyone recommend a reliable solution/configuration using either hosted services or a new stand alone server?
