| I'm curious to know if moving from MSSQL05 to 08 results in the database reducing in size? I'm aware that back-ups are noticeably faster and more compact than 05 but couldn't find anything relating to the actual database size.The reason for asking is that I've recently made this transition with what was a relatively small database anyway (~400Mb) but just noticed that in 08 it is now ~215Mb??? This concerned me for obvious reasons (hmmm... where did THAT go to?) but it appears that nothing is missing...Is this normal? |

MSSQL 08 vs. 05 (Smaller Database)
