hey guys, got a couple quick questions, what are the best practice configs for a SQL 2008 Server on a Server2003 R2 Machine?

how many nic's
what kind of config (full-duplex, half-duplex, teamed.. etc)
anything else you'd reccommend?

also, if you're bored, hdd config too, as far as what stuff on what disk arrays, and how many arrays one should have.

this machine is a dedicated SQL server, and also will be joining data from another server based off UID's to ceate kinda a load balance.

plan on doing federated views later too...

Thanks!
Albert
