I'm newbie here. I want to format my sql server 2000 and I want to restore the existing security permission for each user to access tables/fields. Is it restoring master database will maintain my previous security permission for all tables/fields? Can I just copy and paste the master.mdf into newly formatted server? If not involving master database, what I should I do in order to restore the existing security permission for tables/fields access?Kindly advise. Thanks in advance |
