| Hi we had 2 incidents when we saw transactions ( 50 and 130 ) waiting on a linked server (to oracle) in our SQL server 2008. the wait type was OLEDB and the SQL statement was a short select to oracle ,later we had found out the wait was because the password was expired on the oracle side. We couldn't rollback those transactions without restarting the DB. in addition, we saw major degradation in DB performance at the same time . are u familiar with any relations between this wait type and DB perf? are u familiar with a way to rollback those wait types w/o restarting the DB ? ThanksOren |
