| I need help estimating the transaction log size of a read only decision support system (loaded nightly). I have managed to find a Microsoft article which suggests 20% for OLTP systems but is there a similar rule of thumb for DSS systems. I'm sorry if this seems a really dumb question but any help would be greatly appreciated. |
