Terence Luk writes "To whom it may concern,I've been doing some testing with SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services with a database on SQL Server 2000. I've managed to verify all the datasource properties and what not but once I try to generate a report, I get the following message:The feature: "Remote access to report data sources and/or the report server database" is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. I know SQL Express & SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services is known to have a similar message:"The feature: "Using other editions of SQL Server for report data sources and/or the report server database" is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services."I just tried earlier today creating the report on a laptop with the same SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition that also had Reporting Services installed and it worked without that error message. There must be something wrong with the config. Would the SQL have any idea what could possibly be causing this? Thanks.Terence" |
