We are planning to deploy a new production server (SQL server 2005). I ran SQLIOSim (SQL io stress basically) in test mode to find out if the hardware is proper. I received the following error. 1)Error Text: The request is not supported.Description: Unable to get disk cache info for F:/D:/C: etc..This is the error I received for all the drives on the server. I am not sure what this means or whether this is critical to fix.2) I also received the following warning message. Again, need help on what needs to be fixed or whether this is critical.Error: 0x00000000Error Text: Description: 1 long IO requests are outstanding for file E:\sqliosim.mdx. Handle 0x3e0. Offset of latest long IO 0x1e8f6000, duration 15047 msThanks |
