| I would like to get information on ms access. I design a database for the fire and police department for 911 dispatch calls. Everything is running fine but every year on the december 31 midnight I have to change the Id#s because it starts with year. For example Fire Id# start for this year as 61000000 and Rescue# start with 62000000. On december 31 midnight I have to change the numbers physically by using append queries. Can I do this process automatically and how. I really appreciate if somebody could show me a quick automatic process. Thanks and appreciate your quick response.moetahsen |
