Isidro Contreras writes "Hi all. Maybe this could be a new issue for the forum and could be interesting to solve.

This is my scenario. I have a Windows 2003 Advanced Server that's running Sql Server 2000 Enterprise Edition with SP3a. When the server is started the sql connections grow and start causing blockings until the server itself can't be managed (Enterprise manage take too long to list procceses, etc). If the server is rebooted it acts the same way when Windows is loaded, but if ONLY the Sql Services are re-started it works properly.

We have been an issue with the msdtc service when we migrated to this brand new server. The old one was running Windows 2000 Advanced server with Sql server 2000 Enterprise Edition. We found a walkthrough on Microsoft's Site and got it working but still haven't found anything about this one.

Any help would be highly appreciated with some Tequila.

Thanks"
