Hi all, I am making the transition from crystal to RS.I am a crystal pro with about 6 years experience. It is totally different, but yet very similar. Has anyone worked on both? If so, how are you finding the change?cheersIanMake it idiot proof and they'll make a beter idiot. |

Ive used Crystal on and off over the last 4 years, 2 years ago I tried the .Net variety of Crystal with web output. This year I tried RS.I love RS, Im sure there are things I used to do with Crystal that Id find difficult with RS, but overall I prefer the RS environment and the ease of getting output in multiple environments. The .Net Crystal I hated, the VS.Net designer was awful, Im sure I was doing it wrong but one report I had to delete and redo about a dozen times before it was right and it still looked rubbish. |
