Hi,I'm not sure if this is possible, but i've almost got it working and would like any tips on finishing it.I've got a report, which breaks down further via subreports.for example, the main report is called Coloursthe sub report is called Shades.Colours has the following in it.RedBlueGreenShades has light reddark redlight bluedark bluelight greenSo for each report record, i've got Red light redRed dark redBlue light blueetc...Now i want to make it so the user can select what colour they want to see. I do this via a parameter. But now the reports don't work, cos i'm passing the colour from the Colours report to the Shades subreport as a parameter. It saids i can't have a forward dependancy which is what is happening in this case. Can anyone suggest a better way? If more explanation is required, please let me know.CheersBut_Why |
