| I am using DTS to transfer data from SQL to Access, however, because the access file is in the workgroup, when I am trying to connect the data, there is an error message popped up:"Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another one".I am sure the file is closed and is not opened by anyone.Anyone can help? thanks! |

| Hi irisLooks like you've posted this in the DTS forum too...just letting you know that some people get really antsy if you post your question more than once.Sorry though, can't help - have always steered clear of access security because of exactly the kind of thing you're experiencing....--I hope that when I die someone will say of me "That guy sure owed me a lot of money" |
