Those Joints are generally made on tables with a "#" in front of them

I love it when a client installs a new phone system and the automated-assistant hasn't been Anglicised.

"What's the Pound Key? There's no "£" key on here. Do they mean "lb", not that can't be right ..."

Reminds me of one of my first trips to the USA. (I was writing software for Patent Attornies, the client's were therefore Patent Attorney firms / departments, and my wife is a Patent Attorney)

Client: "What does you wife do?"
Me: "Shes a Patent Attorney"
Client: "Did you meet her on the job?"

Me: "Well ... not long before"
