It would really help us if you gave us more detailed information, such as what Operating system you are trying to install the server components on. Remember RS Server cannot be installed on an XP machine, only the client components can be installed on XP. Are you running win2k3 ??? Yes I am aware of the system requirements. The point is that you can have Report Server on XP. I always run developer edition of the products on my laptop as it's development there.Tara |

Right but if you were to run the full blown production server you'd probably best be using win2k3.And I know you know tara :), the link was for the original poster, whomever that might be.
