Could not allocate space for object 'dw_MasterClaim_ProcLine' in database 'fl1stDwProd2' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full..I have two db's prod1 and prod2.I looked at the properties of each.On the tab Data Files both of these have the same file name (prod2).One has 5897 space allocated and the other 13162.Not sure why they are like this or even if it's correct. Could this be my problem? If so, how can I fix?

Left click on each database, then right click, view, taskpad. From the taskpad, you can visually see which one is full. Since you posted the other thread in the New to SQL Server forum, I'm going to assume that you are new and therefore kept the database settings at their defaults. So that means your database was allowed to grow indefinitely until you ran out of disk space on that drive. So you'll need to fix your disk space problem first before you can get rid of this error message.Tara

The fix for the error is straightforward enough. Just expand an existing file, or add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup. As for why the two different databases are different, well, I am afraid you are on your own for that. Did you mean to add that these databases are somehow in sync?

I reset the data base size to 15,000 for both Prod1 and Prod2the next day they where set back to the original settings. Both are set to grow by 10% unrestricted file growth.Prod1 works find Prod2 keeps getting the file group is full.Does it matter that the file allocation (properties) have the same file name? Could this be what is causing my problem?
