Hi all,

I have deleted few index from my db accidently.
Now i want to transfer those indexes from other backdb.
how i can do it?

Hi,
restore that db backup with another name and then fire sp_helptext 'objectname' then it will return the text of the index , then re create in the db where you wants to recreate it.

this is the quickfix .

when i run sp_helptext

i am getting message there is not text.
I am using sql server 7.0

Hi,

create script of that table name with all objects(index too) then run(index code) in QA , or open EM -> open your old db(withnewname) -> right click on table -> then you will find index code ther tooo.
