Good day.

I have two pc. PC1 and PC2, both installed with sql server. PC1 is a member of a domain MYDOMAIN, while PC2 is not.

Then I want to connect to PC2, since PC2 is not a domain member, i created an SQL authentication login named wh (same username and password) so that PC1 can connect. However, i can't see PC2 on the list of servers, even if i typed the server name, still it won't connect, error stating that sql server doesn't exist or access denied.

So i tried login to PC1 using its own local account (DOMAIN: PC1), but still i can't connect to PC2.

But PC2 can connect to PC1, using sql authentication. PC1 is running win2k, while PC2 is win2k3.

Im getting a headache on this..!! :)
Hope anyone can help me on this , thank you very much.
