| Do you mean having another column for identity purposes? If all the table is doingis getting import data and you are not querying it for data, I would not use an id column, but ratherleave it as a heap table. Also, does the ID field have an index? Is this an existing table or process? You need to do some reading in Books Online and some experimenting.  MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
