| SQL2000I'm looking under Security Logons.I see all logons created and their network address if they are logged on. The newwork address is showing the same address for different logons. PC's are not setup to allow users to do this.I getting deadlocked locks on a windows application reading and writing to the server. Could the newwork address be causing this? |

| No. The two issues are not related. Check SQL Server Books Online for how to troubleshoot deadlocks.Tara Kizer |

What in the world does this mean? What do you mean that PC's are not setup to allow users to do this? Where is it showing this network address? What is the query and field name you're using for this information?MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
