| I would like to know how I may import a .bak file (produced by SQL-Server 2005) into SQL Server 2000. Thank you very much for any help !Regards, Kathy |

| hmmm, not done this before. i dont know what functionality 2005 has altogether. but somebody that only has 4 posts here has more time to play with 2005 than me! dammit!anyway, i doubt you'll be able to to it from 2005. instead of using the .bak file, you could probably use the 2005 replacement for data transformation services (what's it called again?? i cant remember) to export from 2005 to 2000. their should be a wizard for it somewhere in 2005 if you have a look around. |
