The mdb file is sitting on a server and can be accessed by up to 3 users at one time. We're experiencing some real performance problems when more than 1 person has the database open on their machine. Any queries run incredibly slowly. Part of the problem seemed to be that the users where running full column searches each time they queried the database. I suggested that they write specific queries to improve response times, and this has helped a little. Can anyone suggest any other ways of improving performance. (and don't say use SQL Server - believe me, if we had the resources we would!) Anna
