| Hello again, just a quicky - Are the results of an INNER JOIN stored anywhere permanently or is the definition stored in the system tables like a VIEW?Jill |

| The results go to the client, which would be your application, Query Analyzer, or whatever. They are not stored anywhere else. The definition is not stored anywhere else unless you have the query in a view or a stored procedure.Tara Kizeraka tduggan |

| Well, that's the right answer that Jill is looking for, however that's not true.Dynamic SQL may end up having it's plan stored if it's executed enough times, and that data may end up residing in cache, such that if you did re-run the query it would appeared to have run "faster".But Tara gave you what you were really looking for.Brett8-)Hint: Want your questions answered fast?
