I put in production a new SQL2000 Server with sp3, I wanted to do Performance check on it. I could'nt see the SQL counters. I copied the Perfc009.da_,Perfh009.da_ and the expand.exe from the windows 2003 ent server cd and copied them into the system32 directory. I did the expand command, I thought that would bring the counters back, but it didn't. Help

Search MS' knowledge base for missing performance counters:

You should find a bunch of articles related to this. Since there are various reasons why they could be missing, you'll need to check each out to see which one works.
