Hello To All....

I hope I can get assistance from you guy's, Im very new at this and Im still learning so take it easy on me!!

I have been doing networking for a while but, never ran into a remote server attached to a network. Here's the deal......I work at a start up company and they really dont have a tech guy there all the time so I do most of the configuration on the computer's except for the server.

We have about 7 computer hooked up to all the network with a server that shares files and pictures and also data to a program that has currently crashed due to not being able to access sever on 1 of the 7 computers, right!

_So I test ping to the net....It works perfect, the internet is working (witch is connected to the same network)

I have no clue why the computer will not connect to the server.

Please help!!!!

You have to be sure.

If its 2000 you need to have your datbase domain name resolution and register it in the client network utility, using TCP/IP. Then step2. Register it in your EM
