I am install sql 2000, Server is running properly
but query analyer is not working...

What Error are you getting??

Are you not able to connect to the server using QA??

Just do the following things.

Start -> Run -> ISqlw

and post what output you are getting after doing the same??

I am using windows XP.
when run the isqlw.. through task manager i can see the isqlw in
process but not in application.

just try reinstalling again the client tools.. it may fix your issue..
