Hello,I'm trying to install reporting services on separate servers.I need to have SQL Server in one server and the reporting services server in another. I know that with the standard edition this is not possible but can it be done with the Enterprise or Developer?Because when I'm trying to install it that way with the Developer edition, when it tells youy to select the SQL instance I am promped with a message that tells me that no instance could be found, do I have to do something else to tell him that the SQL Server is in another computer? How can this installation be made? Thanks for your collaboration. |

Does it allow you to select an instance or enter an IP address? Keeping the web experience alive -- http://www.web-impulse.comRS Blog -- http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/jhermiz |

Glad you got it working, I know one of the main features is that RS sits alone on its own server, so I was a bit confused on your original error, but looks like you took care of it.
