| Since this is the "New to SQL Server" forum, I'll provide a little more detail than just BOL as the answer. The nvarchar, nchar, and ntext data types support unicode characters. You'll need to use those data types if you play on storing languages such as Japanese, Chinese, etc... Unicode supports a wider range of characters.Tara Kizeraka tduggan |
