Is there a point at which SQL Server will timeout on a query execution? Is there a way to view the current max? Is there a way to reset it? Thanks!

The default timeout is 30 seconds but that is not inside SQL Server. SQL Server will allow you to continue your query indefinitely. You can setup Query Analyzer so that it times out after a certain point though, but the engine will always let you continue processing. So the timeouts are configured in the application and not inside SQL Server.
