| Hi all,I have SQL std 2000 and want tos end mail fron SQL when as an alert I have smtp procedure but getting error bellowError Sending e-mail.CDO.Message.1The transport failed to connect to the server.What could be the problem>? |

| does the server you provided exists? what emailing system are you connecting to? msexchange?lotus notes?--------------------keeping it simple... |
