hi.
I did several Updates in my Database, everything is fine
but this line Below doesnt work.

I can not find why. this column is not a KEY, there are no
relationship whith other columns. no triggers, nothing.

by the way The object 'DF_pedido_ped_percgeral' I dont know where the
Word "DF_" comes from.

does anybody knows where is my mistake?

ALTER TABLE Teste.dbo.PEDIDO ALTER COLUMN ped_percgeral Numeric(08,6)

ALTER TABLE ALTER COLUMN ped_percgeral failed because one or more objects access this column.

It looks like you have a default bound to the column you are attempting to alter.

check out: sp_unbindefault
