| Hi there,I need to join two tables among two different databases, located in different SQL Server 2000 SERVERS.Like Select * FROM Server1.Customers INNER JOIN Server2.Customers On ....Any Suggestions?Thanks a lot! |

| LikeSelect * FROM Server1.db1.dbo.Customers INNER JOIN Server2.db2.dbo.Customers On ....You won't need the server/database for the server that you are running it on.Note this is a really bad thing to do for any sizable amount of data as it will have to transfer the data to one of the servers to do the join. Better to maintain a copy of the data locally.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
