| Hank writes "Hi,We have several windows 2000 servers running SQL 2000, not clustered. My boss asked me to setup a way for failover for one database using two different servers. What is the best way to do this? Should I use the publication method or create a dts package that copies the full database at night or is there a better way? Thanks for your guidance." |

| The best way to setup failover is Clustering, but you can't just slap 2 random servers into a cluster. So in your situation, I would use log shipping. Look up log shipping in Books Online.-Chad |
