Hi i have lots of data on my SQL server and have built up a data warehouse but my biggest problem seems to be on how to provide a reporting tool to provide to the end users as i've alot of data and pivotable tables on excel are great but i've also drill downs which can slow things up big time, i'd just like to know what other options there is out their for providing reporting, i've heard of Business objects but it cost allot so am seek a low cost model ?

Thanks

I know very little about it, is it a extra add on to SQL, do you have to install it on the SQL server ?

it's a separate product.
there's a licencing "catch". If you install it on the same server as your sql server then it's free, otherwise it's not.

Well we have a few SQL servers so we could install it on one of them. Were would be the best place to keep good advice about it or ro get a download and maybe work with a trial version of it... see some examples etc..
