| I've done this on a few servers without any major issues (although they aren't high transaction servers). To me, the pros/cons are obvious, and basically are the same as having multiple SQL 2000 instances as well. Pros: save money on having to purchase additional servers. Cons: sharing resources can eventually lead to performance degradation. |

Issues with 2000 & 2005 on the same physical server
