| Probably hardware errors eg disk subsystem. Have you checked your error logs?-------Moo. :) |

| Please post the errorlog messages... what version of SQL Server are you running?You say that this happens on startup - are you continually restarting SQL Server? If so, why? | >> This probelm is not daily but atleast 0nce in week.And you weren't worried about it?Have a look at the windows event log and see if you are getting errors.Do long running updates occasionally fail with odd errors?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
