 does the records returned by a query has any id?

Does SQL Server creates any id of any sort for each of record of the resultset of a query?if it does..is it possible to use those id in the where clause?

If you mean a ROWID or ROWNUM like Oracle has, no. You have to assume all responsibility for uniquely identifying a row. If you need to number rows, search SQL Team for "row number" and you'll get several articles describing ways to do it.
