I'm attempting to increase the amount of bad passwords that can be attempted before account lockout. I'm running SS2005x64 on Windows 2003 x64.. I've read that it uses Windows's Password policy, is this true? I don't want to increase my domain's password attempts, just SQL Server. Is this possible? |

If your server is set to use Windows Authentication then it will derive the Policy (Lock Out) from your Active DirectoryRegardsNThe revolution won't be televised! |
