Whole instance backup isn't possible.you can backup all databases.Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow blog thingie: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/mladenp |

| so if i wanted to create a maintanance plan for one of the instances the best thing would be to perform a full back up of the database? |
