| Gurusi have a evaluation version on my machine.Now i have got the licence of sql server 2005.Can i upgrade without the CD and only with licence keys?Please helpRegardsNitin |

| It's treated as an upgrade, so use the CD to run the install. Note that if your Eval has expired, then you have to uninstall it first, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914158 |

| HiCould nt get you.The situation is i dnt have the cd wid me.I only have the licence number and the authorisation code.Can i download sql server trial version and then at the time of installing,do i have any option where i can upgrade to sqlserver standard without the CD?RegardsNitin |
